The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to me. I therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, I inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on my website.
This website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage. Cookies help make the offer on my website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow my website to recognize your browser on your next visit.
If you do not wish this, you can set your browser to inform you when cookies are being set and to allow this only in individual cases.
If cookies are disabled, the functionality of my website may be limited.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, i.e., text modules that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Under the GDPR, the legal basis for data processing is § 15 para. (3) sentence 1 TMG. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website: Disable Google Analytics.
You have the option to subscribe to a newsletter/blog via the website. For this, I need your email address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter/blog. Once you sign up, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your subscription. You can cancel your newsletter/blog subscription at any time. Please send your cancellation to: barbara@riedenbauer.com or unsubscribe using the link provided in each newsletter/blog. I will then immediately delete your data related to the newsletter/blog mailing. This revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent before the revocation. The newsletter/blog is sent via “MailChimp”, a newsletter mailing platform provided by the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
The email addresses of my newsletter/blog subscribers and other data described in these notes are stored on MailChimp’s servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on my behalf. In addition, according to its own information, MailChimp may use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g., for the technical optimization of sending and displaying the newsletter/blog or for business purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. MailChimp does not use the data of my newsletter/blog subscribers to contact them itself or to pass it on to third parties.
MailChimp is certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield agreement and is therefore committed to complying with EU data protection requirements. I have concluded a “Data Processing Agreement” with MailChimp, in which MailChimp undertakes to protect my users’ data, to process it on my behalf in accordance with its privacy policy, and in particular not to pass it on to third parties. You can view MailChimp’s privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/.
With regard to your data stored with us, you generally have the rights to access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may contact me at barbara@riedenbauer.com or lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
